WK3 Synthesis work

In class for our weekly reading task we had to pick a question from the synthesis. I picked one were I had to make a scary as flying fox.

Traditions and culture

In class for IL we have been learning about taonga. Of course your culture and tradition can be taonga so we made a DLO about the stuff. We had to include our flower, our flag and a tradition that we do. This was really cool because we went home after school and we asked our parents if we had any traditions and I did.

WK 2 information web

In class we did our weekly information web and it was kind of hard because there wasn't that much that I could put down so yeah
What I enjoyed: reading the story
What was hard: nothing
What I need to improve: more information

Bottle rockets

WALT share what we have learnt with Whanau.

At school for Il we were looking and acids and bases. Then we did some experiments with these acids and bases. After we had to pick one to show at the celebration of learning which is a day were we show our family and friends what we have been doing in IL. we did a bottle rocket.
What I enjoyed: watching the rocket go up. Because I didn't think it was going to go as high as it went and because I didn't think it would work at all. 
what I could work on:Puting just enough tissue in so that it wouldn't just sit there and do nothing it would actually go up in the sky.  
What was hard: making it actually fly. This was because you had to make the cork not hit the ground but still be in the bottle or again puting just enough Tissue.

Taonga Poster

In class for topic we are learning about Taonga. We had to make a Poster about all the taonga that we have (treasure to us). 

I put my flag because I love my country and proud of who I am.

I put the earth because it is so cool what is on this earth and how peaceful it is.

I put music because it is really calming. 

and the family and heart because they are all really loving and nice.

and technology because I can't live without it.

And my dog because he is gangster and fun.  

W1 information web

In class we had to make our weekly information web. Our story is about a kid in the holidays applying to be a zookeeper for a day. This was the first time in ages doing an information web so it was a bit hard.
