All about me

Hello my name is Petelo and I am a year 5 and a 9 year old who goes to St Bernadette’s christchurch of New Zealand. I am in room 4 and we have 28 people in our class.

At our school we have winter sports. WHen you go to winter sports you have to be year 5 and over and you can choose out of soccer, netball, hockey and rugby we got 2 pick I choose rugby and soccer and I got into soccer.

In our class we have maths, topic, R.E, P.E, writing, cybersmart and dreading my favourite is maths cause it’s fun.

The best Kahoot ever

We were learning about private and public information. We got a choice to make a Kahoot, song, book and others and we chose a kahoot. in this kahoot we had to do at least 10 questions about private and public information. When we did this we had buddies my one were Max, Ezra, Mark and me  and we have all posted this to our blogs. When we did this we had to think what questions and the right and wrong answer and we kept on going up to the teacher again and again and again until we got it right.

Information report about school

We we were writing information reports about our school. We had to brainstorm about the school then had to make a information report in our book and then copy that onto our device.

Our school

Our school is St Bernadette's and in Hornby of New Zealand

At St Bernadette’s we are a Catholic school and we are named
after a saint. Our church is also getting rebuilt so now we use
our hall as a church but even that is way to small.

In our school we have 132 children and 15 teachers. My
teacher is Miss Holland and my favorite teacher is the
principal Mr Norman because he is nice and fun.

In our school we have thing called the C.E.R.R values.  It
stands for Compassion, E stands for Excellence, R stand
for Responsibility and the last R stands for Respect and on
every Monday we have Prayer Assembly which is where we
talk and learn more about the C.E.R.R values. We got these
C.E.R.R values just last year.

I like this school because it’s cool and Catholic and
\ cause you can make friends easily and have fun with others.

Stages leading up to Pentecost

We were learning about pentecost and we had to make a slideshow or any kind of animation to show all the sages leading up to pentecost.

Materials

1. A seed
2. Pot
3. Water
4. Sunlight
5. Soil  
6. Gloves

1. Get your pot and put soil in it with your gloves
2. Make a hole in your soil
3. Get a seed
4. Berry it
5. Water it a bit
6. Put it in the sun
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 each day

In class we have  been learning about private information and footprints on the internet and  not to tell anyone your personal information.
