SLJ teaser week

In class we had to do more teaser work for our SLJ. I chose the one were you have to use the similes. 

the lambo is as fast as a cheetah

the giraffe is as tall as a skyscraper

the baby is as small as a rat

 the butterfly is beautiful like a caterpillar

For our teaser week we had to make a poster to advertise the summer learning journey. We could have used any type of way to make this but I chose a simple google drawing.

when you do this they're is 3 things.

2 of the activities are worth 4 points. 1 of them is a bonus which is 6. And comments are 2 points

SLJ practice activity

In our class we had to put down 3 facts as a practice run for the summer learning journey.

Fact 1:Did you know that there is a thing in new zealand called a waka. A waka is a big wooden boat that a lot of people need to use paddles to get around in it.

Fact 2: In New Zealand January and February are the hottest months in the year

Fact 3: There is a myth in New Zealand that Maui pulled up the north island And it was a fish.
